WHAT IS FITS?

FITS is a movement to revive an industry deeply embedded in Cleveland’s DNA. Through FITS, we aim to restore that legacy by building a vibrant, future-ready ecosystem that celebrates both cultural identity and industrial opportunity. Because FITS is that much important to our region, we are kicking it off with a huge media day, and other associated events including a fashion showcase on October 17, 2025!

Later in April 2026, FITS will host its Symposium + Exhibition featuring keynote addresses, panel discussions, a marketplace for vendors and designers, and a grand fashion runway.

GOALS OF FITS

The old playbook of 100% outsourcing is now obsolete. We’ve seen an increase in consumers putting more importance on whether the brand they’re patronizing is loyal and sustainable — and that can mean many different things. By gathering finance and investment professionals at leading banks, investors and corporations, FITS will a) fuel the strategies needed for mobilizing capital across asset classes to fund critical projects and b) spur stakeholders to quickly identify and take advantage of geographic, demographic, technological, and cost-associated bright spots in our region
FITS is the amplifier for our region’s revitalization efforts providing the ramp for brands who want to lead to recognize the vast opportunities in our region as they navigate shifts in consumer behavior and address questions around localization of go-to market models.
Finding new ways of investing in the creative workforce for a strong economy and revitalizing the garment and allied industries in our region will take guts. FITS will provide the necessary coordination and connections to ensure the right commitments are being obtained.
FITS assures that emerging artists and talents receive personalized support system to guide them through the entrepreneurial process, providing the advice of experts, connections to supportive networks, and resources to overcome unique challenges they face in growing and scaling their fashion and garment-related businesses.
FITS boosts local pride in our community, attracts new talents, retains existing residents, and promotes tourism in NEOH - in association with our local partners.
